Very flimsy, I know it wasn’t that expensive but still was below the standard I expected
Most people undertake some kind of research before they purchase anything of determinate value.Ultimately you go through a process and you filter in, or out, those companies who you believe will offer the best value at the lowest cost.But somewhere along the line costs can take over and people take risks.To be fair to Waltons, and this damming them by faint praise, they are no worse than other players in the Shed marketplace.Buying a shed is crapshoot or it’s taking a decision that is bound to have an unpredictable outcome!So when the inevitable happens and things don’t go as planned your gamble hasn’t paid off although, for some it does!People then get angry which is understandable but they forget they took a chance.We decided to buy a Shed and after some research decided on Waltons.The buying process was easy and the initial responses were positive even though we had a very long wait for delivery, but that was not a dealbreaker for us.There was radio silence for a while and a couple of days before delivery we weren’t sure that it would happen.But it did although we were told the delivery would be mid-morning so a 7.00am knock on the door took me by surprise!They drop kerbside which is totally understandable so if you have a very large order you need to factor this in.The Shed was packaged in an OK fashion but not entirely secure hence finding a small part of the frame with minor damage - but this goes with the territory.To be fair the quality is quite good and, at face value the instructions look good.It took my Son and myself 6 hours to put together and we’d pretty much got the base sorted in advance.We also have some experience in these matters so it took longer than we imagined especially for a very small Shed!Whilst the sequencing of the stages looked quite good it didn’t make clear that at some points, you would need to cut some lengths to size.Oddly (and this is the reverse of what usually happens) there were far too many screws which puzzled us as we progressed through the job as we felt we’d missed something very important!But we got the job done and it’s fit for purpose.I did note on their 10 year Anti-Rot Guarantee that a get out clause if the shed is placed between 2 feet (60 cams) of any obstructions then you’re not covered.In summary our gamble largely paid off but the minor damage was disappointing as were the instructions.If you were to pay someone to put this up for you please bear in mind it’s not all plain sailing!

I PURCHASED THE SHED 5TO 6 YEARS its BROKEN DOWN ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE SHED ITS A 6X4CAN YOU HELP ME OUT PLEAS I HAVE I HAVE TAKE PICTURES OF THE SHED AND THE STAIN
Sorry for late feedback due to only putting up greenhouse last weekend. Order was easily placed. Delivery was on time and driver was very helpful. Very pleased with finished structure. Only problem was that instructions were not good but we worked round them eventually. I would definitely buy from Waltons in the future. Many thanks.
I bought a Shed from the waltons recently, they also constructed it. It has nails sticking out of the front and the doors will not open correctly. Even though I paid the money for the shed to be constructed by them, no aftercare what so ever. They are coming up with flaky excuses not to fix the problem with my shed. I also noticed a number of other reviewers had similar issue with thier doors.I now have summerhouse with doors, I can not shut. I am extremely disappointed.
Poor quality product and they are not interested in rectifying any problem.You have lost a customer Waltons! Purchased summerhouse and once it was erected dampness appeared on the interior when it rained, only a couple of weeks after it was erected. I have bought and erected sheds and summer houses each time I have moved house all in exactly the same way each time and have never had a problem with dampness before. Contacted Waltons, they asked for photographs.I supplied photograhs and they replied with numerous deflective excuses for the problem......includingStorm braces were fitted on inside (they weren't and you could quite clearly see in photographs sent to them that they were fitted correctly ON THE OUTSIDE)Wrong flooringWrong wood treatment (I have used the same product that I used on one of their sheds which sits approx 4m away from this summerhouse and was erected 6/7 years ago and has NEVER experienced any damp problems in all that time so that's utter nonsense) and the most amusing to me personally .....incorrect installation of electrics (I am a qualified electrician of some 40+ years experience) They're just not interested in rectifying any problems and just fob you off with excuses so..... Waltons... you've lost a loyal customer. Not just because of the inferior product but because of your failure to attempt to rectify the problem so in future I'll be buying elsewhere. It's very true - You don't see the true standard of a company until you have a problem.Before I placed this review I had a read through many recent ones left by other customers and notice that there is A LOT of unhappy customers leaving unhappy/frustrated reviews. Your previously good reputation now appears to be a thing of the past.

Absolute rubbish, unseasoned timber swelled so much in the rain, couldn't open the ill fitting doors. Some of the fixings completely missed the frame so the cladding was loose, my complaint wasn't addressed satisfactorily. Spend a little more money and buy yourself a decent shed from a reputable company
Found service very good. Delivery as described. Product arrived in good order.Product when built was found to be very good and we like it very much.
Summer house is lovely.and actually good price , but only give four star as the base is very flimsy. Luckily my husband can rectify this problem , but some people may not.
Still waiting for a call back Delivered to wrong house and ask for the shed to be delayed for sensible reason because of COVIDBut delivering to wrong house and no follow up call to explainIve read your reply but still doesnt help the fact we asked for it to be delayed and instructions were very clear we were in as not allowed to go out we are in lockdown??? its currently getting soaked in the garden awaiting collection. expected better service and no calls to say why its gone horribly wrong
